About the school and the role:

This school based in Blandford Forum are looking to appoint a passionate teaching assistant. The school caters for children aged 5-16 years with SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needs. This school is a specialist setting, providing educational subject lessons and work away from the school to encourage SEMH skills. Many of these students will go on to college, work or independent living and your role will be to help them get there. The desired teaching assistant will have school experience working with primary and/or secondary children.

Requirements:

- Previous school experience

- Experience working with SEMH (desireable not essential)

- Have a DBS or be happy to undertake a DBS check
