Job Information The position is located in Fort Simpson and reports to the Manager, Trade and Investment. It serves the communities of Fort Simpson, Fort Liard, Wrigley, Jean Marie River, Nahanni Butte and Sambaa k’e. The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of business programs and services. This position makes recommendations to the Regional Panel on loans and contributions.

Failure to provide adequate services will jeopardize the ability of communities and small businesses to take advantage of available opportunities and/or may result in significant wasted or mismanaged funds on the part of the Prosper NWT (formerly Business Development and Investment Corporation), Support for Entrepreneur and Economic Development and other programs delivered by the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment.
