This is an exceptional opportunity for a recently qualified accountant wanting to progress their career and is seeking a hands-on, varied role. You will report directly to the Deputy Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Deputy Financial Controller with the preparation of monthly management accounts and department analysis
• Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and nominal ledger reconciliations
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit timely VAT returns, Intrastat and EC sales
• Providing financial analysis to departments across the business
• Assisting with the year-end accounting and audit processes
• Owning other administrative tasks within Finance, including expenses, fuel cards, banking and credit card management
• Completing ad-hoc projects to support the function and drive improvements
