MatlockThis role will report directly to the Managing Director. Responsibilities : Manage the company's day to day financial transactions (Sage line 50) Manage Payroll (Sage payroll) Maintain accurate and up to date financial records. Generate financial reports including profit and loss statements, cashflow etc. Monthly bank and credit card reconciliation. Maintain sales and purchase ledgers. Raise final account invoices. Make payments to landlords. Pay suppliers when required. Calculate and pay VAT quarterly. Communincate with customers and suppliers to resolve financial issues. Maintain supplier and utility contracts and insurances (PI, PL, Vehicle etc). Check contractors insurance Requirements : Comprehesive understanding of basic accountancy. Experience as a book keeper or similar role. Proficient with Sage accounting software. High level of ingergrity and professionalism. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
