Salary: £34,551 - £40,648

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Location: Birmingham/Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the General Dental Council (GDC) to develop their experience in management accounting, transactional processing, and financial system administration.

Areas of Responsibility:
• Leading on the day-to-day administration activity for our SAP financial system.
• Supporting our Finance Business Partners by completing analysis and validating the accuracy of system generated transactions, where your understanding of accruals and prepayments will be key.
• Providing support and resilience to our other Assistant Accountant who leads on all aspects of cash and capital expenditure management.
• Delivering training on financial inductions, including initial and refresher training for staff who hold a financial system role.
