A leading manufacturing company seeking a Buyer to join their Purchasing Department, based in Bangor, Co Down,

Your new role

The Buyer will report to the Purchasing Manager, supporting with the procurement of all stock materials and services, ensuring a smooth purchasing process and continuity of supply.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the Purchasing Manager with procurement activities.
• Ensure timely placement of purchase orders in collaboration with the Purchasing Manager and Scheduler.
• Communicate any supply issues that may impact business operations.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers as required.
• Maintain product availability for all international warehouses.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure order priorities and delivery dates are met.
• Monitor inventory levels of required items.
• Deliver briefs, updates, and reports as required.
• Attend daily operations meetings when required.
• Maintain data accuracy on computerised systems.
