The employer is looking for a Personal Assistant, preferably with a background in care, who can understand the needs of the person they would care for.

To promote/provide a high quality of care and support in accordance with individual care/support plans.

The employer is 37 years with Becker’s Muscular dystrophy. He would require help with personal care tasks which include hoisting, showering and dressing.

The employer also requires assistance with going to bed and doing some night time exercises which he cannot manage independently

Salary: £10.90 Gross per hour increasing to £12 in April.

The shift pattern would be 5 to 10 hours per week, worked over six out of seven days, Monday to Sunday.

Monday 830pm until 10pm
Tuesday 830pm until 10pm
Wednesday 830pm until 10pm
Friday 830pm until 10pm
Saturday 830pm until 10pm
Sundays 730am until 930am.

5.6 weeks holiday per year.
