We are recruiting for a voluntary lay (independent/non-executive) member to join our governing body (Council) for an initial term of three years from 1 August 2024.

Our strategy, Creating Better Futures. Together, is focussed on how our work at Loughborough University can contribute to improving the lives of individuals and creating a healthier, more sustainable and more inclusive society.

About the role:

As a lay member of our governing body, you will be integral to us achieving our strategy.

You’ll help to support our decision making, challenge our thinking and hold us to account.

You will bring with you a range of perspectives and lived experience to board-level discussions helping us to respond more effectively to internal and external challenges.
