The Ministry of Forests is responsible for supporting a sustainable and competitive future for B.C.’s forest sector, while taking action to keep forests healthy and protect communities in the face of climate change and extreme weather events.

As an Economist you will work under the supervision of a senior economist to conduct economic, statistical, and modeling projects by developing and managing data, ensuring accuracy of computations and methodologies, reporting on results, and conducting comprehensive economic and statistical analysis. You would also work on regular economic publications, information notes, presentations, and general data management.
