The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is seeking motivated and enthusiastic members to join our team as Visitor Centre Counsellors this summer. As a Counsellor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Fernie Visitor Centre, ensuring exceptional visitor experience in person and online. This is a part-time to full-time position based in Fernie, British Columbia.

Job Responsibilities
• Respond to general visitor inquiries from the public in person, on social media, by phone, and by email. Provide an exceptional level of service to all inquiries.
• A willingness to serve tourism and tourists on the ‘front-line’ including welcoming visitors at the Visitor Centre and supporting major events and festivals happening in the community.
• Ensure all stats are collected, compile reports, and are submitted monthly to Destination BC.
• Operate the Purolator desk including: incoming, outgoing, shipping, handling, and enquiries
