• Formulate improvement programs and implement monitoring and controls for the maintenance functions.
• Plan, prioritize and manage corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Establish a maintenance management system for tracking maintenance support requests, spare parts and maintenance history of factory equipment.
• Cost and budget control of maintenance spare parts.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders (i.e. production departments) to work out the best practices in handling the production processes the best way. This can be evidenced by more effective changeovers, scrap reduction, better utilization of raw materials etc.
• Analyze causes of downtime, implement improvements focusing on the elimination of failures and regularly report to the Management.
• To provide necessary guidance and train the Maintenance team members to their best performance.
• Observes and actively enforces safe working practices in the plant.
