The Workshop

Working in a busy and fast paced environment, you will be responsible for arranging daily shipping operations for export customers around the world.
Main Duties
Prepare and provide documents to customers in accordance with the terms of shipment and standard operation procedures
Responsible for the execution of all export shipping documentation
Ensure all documentation meets export regulations
Arrange collection of export shipments with freight forwarders
Process all export courier shipments via selected freight forwarders
Knowledge of export licence and HMRC customs compliance
Checking freight invoices to ensure charges are correct
Organising import customs clearances
Deal with daily queries from freight forwarders regarding export and import shipments
Knowledge of customs procedure codes

Skills and Knowledge
Experience in shipping
Familiar with export rules and regulations
Strong customer service and relationship building skills
Good MS Office skills
Good negotiation skills
