Development Underwriter - Harrogate / Hybrid / Home Based - ARD925421

As a Development Underwriter, you will work with brokers and in conjunction with the Sales team in developing and underwriting profitable, target business in line with prescribed underwriting strategies and business plans across a range of Commercial Products including Combined Liability (contracting and non-contracting) and Commercial Combined.You will generate and underwrite new business opportunities, whether that be individual risks, portfolios, or new product lines profitably – in line with established underwriting practices, company risk appetite and within regulatory requirements.

Key Role Accountabilities
• Develop new opportunities, both at an individual risk level and more broadly through portfolio and new product line opportunities for the Specialist Commercial pillar
