Primary Purpose

The NC Zoo is looking for an enthusiastic person that loves working outdoors and interacting with guests. This weekend Housekeeper position provides an outstanding guest experience while performing routine housekeeping tasks for the men's and women's public and staff restrooms, ensuring a safe, sanitary, and "Green" environment for all guests and employees. The Zoo's Environmental Services Branch supports the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR) and the NC Zoo by providing professional housekeeping services for the Zoo's buildings, exhibits, building grounds, plazas, trails, parking lots, large outdoor areas and special events as well as managing the Zoo's recycling programs that contribute to a safe, sanitary, and "Green" Zoo environment for guests and staff.
