We are working with a mainstream Primary School in the Woking area who are looking for an experienced and SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

The role will be to support a Year 6 Pupil on a 1:1 basis. The pupil has GDD and is working a year 2 pupils learning age and also has social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties and a range of additional learning difficulties. We are looking for someone with both SEN and Primary School experience.

Your key duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be to:
• Support a Year 6 students on 1:1 basis.
• Follow IEPs.
• Manage any challenging behaviour
• Work under the direction of the class teacher.
• Creating a calm and safe environment for the pupil to thrive in
• Adapt teaching support according to student's needs
• Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
