Our friendly and family run care home are looking for a Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team at our small (10 bed) care home. Your duties will include assisting the registered manager with responsibilities such as dispensing and ordering resident medication, dealing with outside professionals (local GP's and district nurses), implementing care plans and assist to the rest of your care team with the day to day issues that arise. Include taking responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing of our residents, assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and evening meals. Helping to maintain accurate records and undertaking on-going training. Generally promoting residents independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care.
