The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is a non-departmental public body (NDPB) of the Home Office. DBS helps employers make safer recruitment decisions each year by processing and issuing DBS checks (previously known as criminal record checks) for England, Wales, Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

Responsibilities:
• Provide the direction for data engineers in using the most appropriate tools and methodologies and introduce new ones.
• Engage with the wider digital government digital teams to establish best practice in data engineers on Digital teams.
