Role Overview:

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for leading and developing our family law practice in Birmingham. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the department, build a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional legal services to our clients.

Your team will have the expertise to represent the whole Birmingham community with experts in HNW divorces, international family law matters and complex children proceedings inc those with significant social services involvement.

Your individual work can be any aspect of family law. You will not be expected to personally undertake work across the spectrum of family law but as your team will do this work, you must have a basic understanding of legal funding options including legal services orders and legal aid to ensure that you can lead the team effectively across the spectrum of family law matters.
