The 2IC canteen chef provides a service to the staff canteen, the 2IC canteen chef assists the Senior canteen chef with the overall management of the canteen. The main purpose of the 2IC canteen chef is to ensure that the kitchen is supervised, and that quality food is produced in a hygienic environment, in line with the required Game lodge standards. Portion control must be exercised according to the number of staff dining and stock rotation in terms of the mise-en-place used in the preparation of dishes. Requirements:
• Exeperince working in a 4*/5* kitchen enviroment.
• Buffet style food.
• Must be organized
• High pressure enviroment.
• Must have chef qualifications.

Education:
• Certificate (Preferred)

Experience:
• Food industry, catering, cooking: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
• Hazyview, Mpumalanga (Required)
