Background: Diamond Development Initiatives (DDI) is preparing for an anticipated multi-million-dollar, multi-year USAIDFeed the Future Nigeria Resilience Activity, which will support poverty reduction for vulnerable households in the Northwest of Nigeria with focus on Sokoto and Zamfara states. This effort will contribute to DDI’s’ agriculture and livelihoods program areasand ongoing efforts to promote resilience, recovery, and development within Nigeria. Therefore, DDI is currently seeking the following position contingent on USAID funding:

Position Type Full-Time

Location: Zamfara or Sokoto, Nigeria.

Job Summary: The Market Systems and Resilience Specialist will provide strategic guidance in market systems/value chains across the Activity. S/he will lead the program’s efforts to invest sustainably in agribusiness particularly targeting smallholder farmers.
