Job purpose: Because of the planned retirement of our Director, we are recruiting for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position in Shelter NI.

As CEO, you will be responsible for the whole of Shelter’s administration and financial management. Working closely with the Board, you will develop the organisation’s long-term strategy, budgets and business plans and ensure compliance with the law and regulations

Salary: NJC Scale PO6; [points 40-43] range currently £48,474 - £51,515 under review. [pro-rata if less than 37 hours]

Location: HQ - Belfast

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm daily. Applications will be accepted for reduced work hours in the range 30 – 36. You will also be expected to attend networking and campaign events outside office hours and be the face of Shelter NI. Board meetings are often out of office hours, and you must attend these.
