We are looking for an exceptional candidate to be the lead officer for our electoral registration and election functions here in the City of York.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and manage a new team, working with the Head of Democratic Governance to implement an improvement plan to ensure that our elections are well run and that we provide an excellent registration service for local residents.

You should be an experienced electoral administrator, holding or working towards the AEA certificate, and looking to take the next step in your career.

The postholder will have access to secure government sites or email. In order to use these systems, the Cabinet Office requires the HR Team to carry out Baseline Personnel Standard Security (BPSS) checks.
