Old School Preschool and Denmead Day Care Nursery and Preschool have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational person to take up the post of a Childcare Practitioner.

We have a vacancy for an all year round practitioner to work at both our preschool and nursery site. We cater for 40 children aged 6months to 4 years old.

You would:
• provide the children with a safe, secure and home-like environment
• enthusiasm and commitment to working with children
• operate a key worker system and liaise with parents, carers and senior staff
• plan, organize and implement a programme of activities to meet the needs of this age group

You must:
• hold a minimum of a Level 3 equivalent qualification or higher and preferably have 2 years experience in a childcare setting.
• be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the Birth to Five Framework/Development Matters
• be confident in allowing children to take their own risks
• encouraging all areas of outdoor play, all year round
