The shipper prepares the material to be expedited and loads the trailer according to the delivery route plan and by following the standard loading procedures.

Tasks And Responsibilities

Check and weigh the merchandise to be expedited

Prepare orders, i.e. package, label and scan the merchandise

Load the merchandise onto a trailer or on pallets

Classify items in an orderly and accessible manner inside the department

Inform the team leader of all errors or missing orders

Participate in the monthly inventory count

Fill containers with packaging material

Ensure area maintenance to conserve a clean and safe working environment

Respect the company’s current health and safety standards

Perform other job-related tasks

Job Requirements

Having worked in an expeditions department; an asset

Own a forklift operator permit

Basic knowledge of inventory items

Basic knowledge of computer systemsBilingualism, French and English (written and spoken); English is a must[1].
