For more than 80 years, Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS), a not-for-profit organization, has been providing premiere security services to Nova Scotian companies and organizations throughout the province. Historically known for its social mandate to provide meaningful employment to military and police veterans, CNS now employs more than 1300 trained professionals at over 200 sites across the province. CNS is a leader in providing security services including guarding, threat risk assessments, by-law enforcement, police clearances, federally certified unmanned aerial systems, closed circuit television monitoring, record suspension, and US waiver services. Commissionaires Nova Scotia is also this year’s recipient of the Chamber of Commerce ‘Not for Profit Company of the Year’.
