Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and medication management.
Main duties of the job
• Lead, deliver, develop, and evaluate Aseptic Services at Southport DGH to the Trust, operating as an expert and ensuring compliance with current directives, legislation, external audits
• provide pharmacy expertise for parenteral nutrition in the Trust and be involved in clinical management of complex patients
• provide support to Haematology colleagues who are based at Ormskirk Hospital
• Oversee preparation and release of Chemotherapy, Parenteral Nutrition, Monoclonal Antibodies, and other aseptic products prepared under section 10 of the Medicines Act comply with national 'Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services' (QAAPS) standards and the EL (97)52 audit framework.
• Be responsible for the strategic development of Aseptic Services
