Job Title: LGV Class 1 Shunter (Days)

Location: Crewe

Shifts/Hours: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts

Salary: £13.75 per hour

Duties And Responsibilities
• To safely manoeuvre company vehicles on site to facilitate efficient loading and unloading operations.
• Promptly reporting of vehicle refrigeration engine defects to relevant personnel.
• Promptly notify the company of any delays which will affect the completion of the day’s work.
• Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with Buffaload Logistics’ accident reporting procedure.

Skills/Experience

Required:
• LGV C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence (max. 6 penalty points).
• A digital Tachograph.
• Valid DQC card and up-to-date DCPC (including Modules 2+4).
• Must be fluent in English due to the nature of the role; being in constant communication with Planning teams, Operations teams... More Detail
