JOB DESCRIPTION – TRAINEE BREAD BAKER

Trainee Bread baker required for our busy Bakewell based bakery. Ideally would suit a school leaver looking to make a career for themselves. NVQ training will be provided.

No previous skills required as full training will be given.

Duties

Learning the following skills:

· Daily mixing dough batches, hand moulding and mixing.

· Understanding of food safety practices

· Know how to mix different ingredients to prepare products.

· Quality control.

· Following recipe procedures.

· Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.

· Maintaining equipment and machinery to a high standard.

· Understanding the production process

Must be able to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

Reliability is a key attribute for this role, as is consistency under pressure and the ability to multitask is a must.
