Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating safety trends and provide leadership, coaching and mentoring services that support the goal of zero harm of the mine. Also developing, implementing, improving and maintaining safety systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree or National Diploma in Safety Management
8 years working experience in the field of SHE in the Mining environment
3 years experience as a leader
Mining SAMTRAC and/or COMSOC 3 Certificate
Knowledge and experience in risk management ISO 31001 and ISO 45001
Knowledge and experience in incident investigation
Formal Training or Certification as an auditor to perform SHEQ audits
A valid drivers licence (minimum code 08)
