Our client, experts in surface production drilling, blasting, underground mining, and infrastructural development, are seeking a meticulous SHEQ Officer.

Location: Vanderbijlpark

Duties & Responsibilities

Mainly responsible for auditing and determining compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety and Mine Health and Safety Acts within the company.

Requirements:
A minimum of three years’ experience within a mining environment as a 2.17.1 / 2.17.4 Legal appointee.

Education:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Safety related field i.e., COMSOC 1 & 2/ SAMTRAC - NOSA
Any artisan training or practical heavy industry experience will be advantageous.
National Diploma in Safety Management will be advantageous.
Computer literacy.
Valid Medical
