- Lead product development activities from award to end of production, ensuring that customer requirements are met, product is feasible & specified within right profitability targets.
- Assess product maturity and feasibility by initiating tests and trials vs. Customer Requirements and Critical Characteristics, lead Engineering Maturity and Design FMEA ensuring definition of robust deliverables.
- Ensure successful Product Validation at Customer by optimizing product, process and specifications in order to meet all the requirements.
- Create and update product and process data in PLM and ensure effective handover to other Functions.
- Track profitability by updating Part Cost Calculations and take necessary actions for mitigating deviations.
- Supervise relevant prototyping activities related to awarded projects and support the internal and external runs at rate and the production launch.
