Job Summary

Oversees the management teams and directs the overall operations and maintenance of assigned region(s) within the FedEx Ground (FXG) network. Supports the company’s business objectives by collaborating with Business Development Solutions, Transportation, H.R., Field Operations, along with other appropriate departments to support FXG’s overall first business priority of ‘Safety Above all’. Plans, establishes and executes business objectives to meet all operational goals.
Essential Functions

• Plans, organizes, staffs, directs, and controls the day-to-day operations of region(s) • Develops and manages the regional budget. Ensures compliance and is responsible to address variances and other budget concerns • Performs all human resource management functions to include hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, performance management and staff productivity.
