Furniture Product designers are responsible for the look and feel of the furniture we use every day. They’re tasked with creating new pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, while also ensuring that these designs can be mass-produced at a reasonable cost.Furniture designers must have an eye for detail and an understanding of human anatomy and physiology. They must also be able to work well in a team environment—they rely on engineers, woodworkers, metal workers, fabricators, etc., to help bring their ideas to life.

What You Will Do
• Carry out research to help develop ideas.
• Produce new designs, or improve existing ones
• Creating sketches and drawings of new designs using software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Meeting to discuss needs and preferences and recommending materials, colors, and styles that will meet their goals.
