Job Overview

Bangor ED is unique. Sandwiched between the mountains of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey, this is the place to enjoy rural EM. Our happy, friendly department (seeing 52,000 patients pa) is developing fast as we pursue our goal of excellence in rural EM.

We are looking to appoint a Locum Consultant to join our team - 8 sessions for a 12 month period from 1 September 2024. We offer a civilized 1 in 8 rota, and the Welsh Consultant Contact is based upon 7 DCC: 3 SPA which provides flexibility in job planning.

As for life in North Wales, if you like outdoor pursuits, you’ll be in heaven here: everything from hill-walking to kite-surfing is on the doorstep. Yet we are only a one-hour drive from Chester and the M6, and three hours from London by train.
