ALS People are recruiting for Skilled Operative on behalf of our national client based in Totnes.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a team that maintains the Council's property and assets. Varied and wide-ranging, challenging and engaging, the work you will undertake will include day to day reactive repairs and planned maintenance across our picturesque districts. Either working alone under your own initiative or as an important part of a larger team on project work, we will ask that applicants have a flexible approach to their workday to meet the demands of the reactive and planned repairs we undertake.

Qualifications:

Essential:

Full UK Driving Licence.

Professional Trade Qualification.

Plant operations licence (digger/MEWP).

Desirable:

UK 7.5 tonne licence.

Forklift licence.

Plant operations licence (digger/MEWP).

Knowledge / Experience:

Essential:

Working within the building/property industry.

Use of power and hand tools.
