Starting Immediately – Questar III BOCES has an open vacancy for a full-time Internal Auditor (Civil Service Title: Accountant) position within our Internal Audit service based out of our Central Office in Castleton, NY. This position will work with various school districts throughout NYS performing all functions associated with the Questar III internal audit service. Typical duties include the following: Prepare annual risk assessments. Interview process owners to understand current state systems, processes, and/or controls and assess risk with minimal oversight and supervision. Execute comprehensive audits in various operational and financial areas of the school district. Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of in-scope audit areas, including efficiency, effectiveness, mitigating controls, and procedures to remediate gaps.
