Prestige Nursing East Lancashire is looking for new members to join an existing support team for our service user in the Wigan area.

Previous experience of supporting with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is preferred, but not essential.

Support worker required for 25 y/o male with DMD.

The role includes assisting with personal care, moving and repositioning and administration of medication.

The successful applicant will be sociable and outgoing, able to use their initiative to plan activities and support the client to live an independent lifestyle.

Shift times: 0830 - 1300, Monday to Friday. Occasional evening shifts required with advanced notice provided.

We provide all new Members with our mandatory training programme, and client-specific training will be made available where necessary.

You will require access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving licence.
