A Qualified Social Worker is required to join Powys County Councils Throughcare Team 14+

This is an initial 3 month contract covering the South of the County i.e Llandrindod Wells and as far South as Ystradgynlais. Ideally this will be a full time position. You will predominantly be working from home but you can work on site on a rotational basis. Pay rate is £37.45 Umbrella. A car driver is required for this role and the position will entail a significant amount of travel including to London / Midlands area.

You will be responsible for a caseload of children and young people who are looked after, or have been looked after by the Local Authority, this will ranging from 14 up to the age of 25. The team specialises in ensuring that the young people with whom the Local Authority is Corporate parent for, receives the best support they possibly can.
