Job Function of the Yard Operative: Performing in-depot maintenance operations.

Reporting to: Yard Foreman & Depot Manager. Collaborating with: Depot Managers, Yard Foreman, Field Service Engineers, Drivers & Valeters.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of a Yard Operative:

• Execute in-house repairs and conduct fault diagnosis on various equipment, encompassing, but not limited to:
• Chassis and brakes
• Diesel generators
• Diesel heaters
• Towing mechanisms
• Water heaters
• Hydraulic pumps
• Electric modules
• Painting/Spraying
• Bodywork • Perform scheduled maintenance for all equipment within the depot. • Maintain and review optimal parts stock levels consistently. • Allocate used parts accurately onto the works mobile tablet. • Process all jobs correctly on the works mobile tablet in a timely manner. • Provide support in other areas and depots as...
