Role - Mechanical Design Manager

Type - Permanent

Location - Leicester

Salary - £45,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures engineering equipment and machinery in the automation sector, with them looking to take on a Mechanical Design Team Leader, on a permanent basis, in the Leicester area.

The Mechanical Design Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar

Industry experience working as a Mechanical Team Leader, Manager, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Previous experience of leading a team of 5 or more Engineers would be desirable

Having knowledge of 3D CAD - SolidWorks ideally, but other software may also be considered

Good organisational skills are required and good time management too

The ability to use Microsoft Office programmes
