Duties
• Serves the Business Operations Branch Chief/Deputy S3 for the Signal Battalion.
• Acts as principal civilian advisor to the staff and has technical and administrative responsibility for planning and development of design requirements, funding, and implementation of information system, training, and development programs.
• Provides expert information technology support for the Information Management Systems in the Signal Battalion mission area.
• Serves as the Plans Officer within the Battalion S3 providing technical supervision over Information Technology personnel.
• Manages and directs the resources and efforts to ensure delivery of Army IT Services and execution of the Signal Battalion Mission Essential Tasks.
• Directly responsible for the synchronization of all aspects of the Battalion Operations.
• Attends meetings involving subject area to update or obtain information for Battalion plans.
