The purpose of this position will be to provide the required financial and administrative support to the Conservation Manager of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve.

Responsibilities

Financial and Budget Management
• Assisting with administering budgets and externally funded projects
• Assist with Asset management, including Fixed Asset verifications, register management as well as purchase, disposal and transfer management
• Management of Government Garage vehicle fleet, including logbooks, trip authorities, invoices, accruals, licensing, services, and repairs.

Office Administration & Management
• Office administration including information management, minute taking at meetings, logistical aspects around meetings, workshops, and conferences
• Printing, scanning, and filing of documents- Document Management
• Income and cash handling, including petty cash custodian, banking, and reconciliations.
• Render logistical and admin support at fires.
