Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Calabar Cook at Calabar food (master’s kitchen) located in Ikeja. The Calabar Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic Calabar dishes, ensuring that food is prepared to high standards and following all food safety and hygiene regulations. The Cook will also collaborate with the kitchen team to create new recipes and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5years
• experience as a cook or chef, preferably specializing in Calabar cuisine
• Excellent knowledge of Calabar cooking techniques, ingredients and dishes
• Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare and present dishes to a high standard
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Strong knowledge of stock inventories and entries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
