Job Title: Data Center Technician

Location: Basildon (with occasional travel to other sites)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience) + bonuses + benefits

We are currently working with a global financial organisation who are seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and functionality of there data centers and access centers.

Responsibilities:
• Act as the first line escalation point for serious incidents or technical issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime.
• Carry out Data Center tasks as directed, which may be project-based or received via Service Now, ensuring compliance with Change Control rules and supporting documented tasks as requested.
• Execute Moves, Adds, and Changes (MACs) in the Data Center, Main Point of Entries (MPOEs), Main Mains Rooms (MMRs), and Access Centers for both internal and external customers.
