ROLE OF THE JOB Please note: Successful applicants must be available for interview week commencing 26th June. These posts will commence in September 2024. What the candidate will be doing on a day-to-day basis The apprentice joiner will be working alongside a qualified joiner undertaking various joinery related repairs to the councils 8,500 tenanted homes. There will be an opportunity to get hands on experience under the supervision of the trades person that they are working with the apprentices as they develop their skills and be taught in the safe use of battery and powered equipment to ensure we produce a high standard of work. There is a large focus on ow we ensure our apprentices are kept safe in our teams and there a focused health and safety training program that prepare our people to work safely in the construction industry.
