Permanent Full Time Medical Radiation Technologist

The Medical Radiation Technologist is responsible for the operation of the Diagnostic Imaging Department

including, but not limited to, patient care, ER, OP and IP x-ray imaging, accurate and timely documentation,

initiating service calls and supervision of other imaging related duties. This position must adhere to all

departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Graduate of a CAMRT accredited school of Medical Radiation Technology

 Maintain annual registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario

(CMRITO)

 Maintain annual registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists / Ontario

Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (CAMRT/OAMRS) – optional

 Maintain current BCLS certificate

 Computer experience in a windows environment

 Must be able to work independently
