The Foreman is responsible for managing the work of the Maintenance of Way section while also performing track inspections, identifying, and prioritizing defects and repairs.

Responsibilities:
The selected individual will perform the following functions:
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Report directly to Track Supervisor and/or Assistant Track Supervisor
• Manage crews during daily activities when in the field.
• Work with different tools (manual, hydraulic or other).
• Maintain the tracks, switches and its premises including the structures, according to the current standards/regulations.
• Follow and respect the different rules and security procedures.
• Performs all other related tasks.

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess 5 years’ experience in the track department.
