What you’ll do :
• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and guidance to the pharmacy department in the areas of business development, corporate performance management, staffing, strategic planning, marketing, safety, procurement and programs, facilities management, operations, risk management and annual operating and capital budgets.
• Manage and oversee the operation of the pharmacy and its budget, including its sales, expenses, labour, and inventory and provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the pharmacy team.
• Provide patient focused services such as injections, medication reviews, and minor ailment prescribing to maximize patient care.
• Provide professional advice and counselling on prescriptions, over-the-counter medications including indications, dosage, adverse effects, and drug interactions and health related issues to patients.
