A postdoc position is available at the Research institute of Sciences & Engineering (RISE) in the general area of environmental resources conservation and protection, specifically environmental microbial surveillance, risk assessment and genomics. The postdoc will join a group of researchers involved in studies related to water/wastewater quality, treatment, and reuse; environmental monitoring and genomics, and reservoirs of antimicrobial resistance. Special interest include risk assessment of emerging pollutants and application of bioinformatics pipelines in elucidation of microbial community dynamics. The candidate is expected to lead projects and work with existing researchers on ongoing projects.RISE has excellent research facilities and an active research environment, Researchers in RISE work with various research centers and research groups.
