Minimum Requirements
• NOSA Samtrac
• Incident Investigator
• HIRA training
• Registered with SACPCMP
• Valid Driver’s license
• Clean criminal record
• Medically fit to work on site with no restrictions.

• Willing to work long unpredictable hours when required
• Have initiative, energy, be self-motivated and be passionate about their work
• Can work well under pressure
• Have good organisational skills
• Work well with peers and customers

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SAFETY OFFICER AS PER FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
• Conduct risk assessments and implementing controls to mitigate hazards.
• Developing and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g. OHS Act, SANS)
